Henry Hopper, son of Dennis Hopper, stars in Gus Van Sant's latest movie, "Restless." This is his first film, though you wouldn't know it based on his performance. He has the intensity, wildness, and vulnerably that is reminiscent of, well, a pre-"Easy Rider" Dennis Hopper. He has that rare ability to connect with the camera.
Yet, despite his talent, pedigree (his mother is actress Katherine LaNasa), and movie-star good looks, the 21-year-old was initially reluctant to enter the family business.
"I resisted being an actor for some time," Henry Hopper told a news conference at the Cannes Film Festival.

Instead, he went to CalArts to study painting before dropping out to join an artist commune in Berlin. Yet the acting bug proved to be hard to resist: he started performing in the odd play stateside. Soon, he started getting offers for movie roles, but was unimpressed for the most part.
"The parts were sort of middle-of-the-road, ambiguous, teenage roles," Hopper told "Details" magazine. "I'm more into the avant-garde, more into the strange. But as a young actor, they take you while you're stupid and mold you into whatever shape they think is appropriate."

McQueen was born in Los Angeles, California, the son of Stacey Toten (Stacia Robitaille) and actor/producer Chad McQueen.^[2] His paternal grandparents were actor Steve McQueen and Filipino-born actress Neile Adams.^[3] His stepfather, Luc Robitaille, is a retired Canadian NHL hall of famer.^[2] McQueen has two younger siblings,Chase & Madison McQueen, and a half brother, Jesse Robitaille.

When Adam Nimoy was growing up, he felt alienated from his famous father.

Leonard Nimoy's work as the Vulcan Mr. Spock on "Star Trek" and his numerous other film and TV projects on both sides of the camera provided a comfortable West Coast lifestyle for his baby boom family.

But the younger Nimoy said the time-consuming work also deprived him of the steady presence of his father, and when they did share time together, he quickly learned that he had to share his dad with the rest of America.

Given the loyal and obsessive reputation of "Trekkies," Adam could be forgiven for looking at them as his father's other family.

Richard Boone was married three times: to Jane Hopper (1937–1940), Mimi Kelly (1949–1950), and Claire McAloon (by whom he had a son, Peter) (1951–)
Boone moved to St. Augustine, Florida, from Hawaii in 1970 and worked with the production of Cross and Sword, when he was not acting on television or in movies, until his death in 1981. In the last year of his life, Boone was appointed Florida's cultural ambassador.^[8] During the 1970s, he wrote a newspaper column for the St. Augustine Record called "It Seems To Me." He also gave acting lectures at Flagler College in 1972–1973.^[9] In his final role, Boone played Commodore Matthew Perry in Bushido Blade. He died soon afterward of pneumonia while suffering from throat cancer in St. Augustine. His ashes were scattered in the Pacific Ocean off Hawaii.

Have Gun — Will Travel is an American Western television series that aired on CBS from 1957 through 1963. It was rated either number three or number four in the Nielsen ratings during each year of its first four seasons.^[1] It was one of the few television shows to spawn a successful radio version. Have Gun — Will Travel was created by Sam Rolfe and Herb Meadow and produced by Frank Pierson, Don Ingalls, Robert Sparks, and Julian Claman. is an American, long-running, old-time radio and early television show created by George W. Trendle (with considerable input from station staff members), and developed by writer Fran Striker. The eponymous character is a masked Texas Ranger in the American Old West, originally played by Paul Halliwell, who gallops about righting injustices with the aid of his clever, laconic American Indian assistant, Tonto. Departing on his white horse Silver, the Ranger would famously say "Hi-yo, Silver, away!" as the horse galloped toward the setting sun. On the radio and TV-series, the usual opening announcement was:
This version of the opening credits was first seen in the episode "Lost City of Gold."
In later episodes the opening narration ended with: "With his faithful Indian companion, Tonto, the daring and resourceful masked rider of the plains led the fight for law and order in the early western United States. Nowhere in the pages of history can one find a greater champion of justice. Return with us now to those thrilling days of yesteryear. From out of the past come the thundering hoofbeats of the great horse Silver! The Lone Ranger rides again!" Although the Lone Ranger's last name was given as Reid, his first name was not revealed. According to the story told in the radio series, the group of six ambushed rangers was headed by Reid's brother, Captain Dan Reid. Some later radio reference books, beginning with The Big Broadcast in the 1970s, erroneously claimed that the Lone Ranger's first name was John; however, both the radio and television programs avoided use of his first name. Some say that Captain Reid's first name was also avoided, but the name Dan did appear in a phonograph record story of the Lone Ranger's origin, featuring the radio cast, issued in the early 1950s and in a miniature comic book issued in connection with the TV show. At least one newspaper obituary upon Fran Striker's 1961 death and a 1964 Gold Key Comics retelling of the origin both stated that the Lone Ranger's given name, rather than his brother's, was "Dan Reid," not "John." It appears that the first use of the name "John Reid" was in a scene[clarification needed] in which the surviving Reid creates an extra grave for himself among those of his fallen Ranger companions. It must be acknowledged that the use of the first name John in the 1981 big-screen film, The Legend of the Lone Ranger, gave it a degree of official standing, although the completely different names found in the 2003 TV-movie/unsold series pilot undercuts that.
